The date of your excursions, your travel activities, the different stages of your road trip, your impressions as a traveler: quickly note these elements which you can then return to your travel diary once you return home.
PRECIOUSLY KEEP ALL THE MEMORIES OF YOUR TRIP
Metro, train or bus tickets, postcards, stamps, business cards... Get into the habit of collecting (then keeping in a safe place) all the souvenirs from your trip. If this hasn't been possible or you've simply lost them, don't worry, photos will do the job just as well!
