Creation of the printing press

First a printing house, the great history of the brand began in Paris in 1886 in the footsteps of its founder Charles Draeger.

Named “Draeger et Lesieur” then Draeger Frère at the turn of the century, the printing company moved to Montrouge in 1908, buoyed by its growing success.

INVENTION OF THE PROCESS 301

Thanks to a unique color reproduction process, the 301 process, the printing house quickly became renowned for the quality of its production.

HISTORICAL COLLABORATIONS

Draeger wrote some of the most beautiful iconographic pages of the 20th century, working with big names in luxury and collaborating with artists like Dali, Picasso, Cocteau and Matisse.

In 1956, the house diversified its activity and bought one of its oldest collaborators: Yvon Editions, known for the photographs of their creator Pierre-Yves Petit.
