Che Guevara poster, R. BURRI

René Burrioes work charts the key events of the second half of the twentieth century. On commission for major press publications, he took photos of events including the Korean and Vietnam wars, the Cuban Missile Crisis and Chinaoes Cultural Revolution. Commissioned by Look magazine, this portrait of the Cuban leader Che Guevara is without a doubt the most historic shot taken by this Magnum photographer.
